About This Activity
Paddle Pirates is the only kayak tour operator licensed to land on Me-Mel (Goat Island) in Sydney Harbour. The 3.5-hour tour departs from Blackwattle Bay in Glebe and paddles across the harbour to the island's secret cove, with the Harbour Bridge and Opera House as your backdrop. A guide covers local history — the island served as a gunpowder magazine and convict barracks — during the landing stop. High-resolution harbour photos are provided free after the tour.
