Ocean Extreme runs Sydney’s fastest commercial whale watching vessels — open RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) speedboats that get close to humpback whales faster than any traditional cruise. Two-hour departures run from Circular Quay and Manly Wharf from May to November during humpback migration season. The operator guarantees whale sightings or a free repeat trip. A$139 per adult. Minimum age 6 on the Osprey vessel, 12 on larger boats. Seasonal only — book ahead in peak migration months (Jun-Sep).
