About This Activity
Boutique Tours Australia runs small-group (max 11) wildlife safaris to the pristine bushland and forests of the Southern Highlands, less than two hours south of Sydney. The tour departs at lunchtime, reaching prime wildlife habitat at golden hour. A knowledgeable Naturalist Guide leads spotlighting sessions after dark to find kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, platypus along river banks, sugar gliders, and the elusive koala. Includes afternoon tea and a hearty country dinner at one of Australia’s oldest pubs.
Seasonal note: Platypus sightings best in warmer months (Oct-Apr). Year-round for kangaroos and wombats.
