Torres del Paine is Patagonia's crown jewel — three granite towers rising 2,850m above turquoise glacial lakes. The classic Base Torres day hike (18km round trip, 8-10 hours) climbs through lenga forests and boulder fields to the Mirador Las Torres viewpoint. For a shorter option, hike to Lago Grey to see the glacier calving icebergs. Buy entrance tickets online at pasesparques.cl in advance. $35 high season (Nov-Mar), $18 low season.
