About This Activity

Take the train from Paris Saint-Lazare to Vernon (1h15), then a shuttle to Giverny. Walk through Monet's house — its yellow kitchen and blue dining room preserved as he left them — into the garden where he painted his Water Lilies series. The Japanese bridge, weeping willows, and wisteria are most beautiful in May and June. Tickets: €11 per adult.

Seasonal note: Garden open Apr-Oct only; peak bloom May-June; closed Mondays
