Tonalá Market & Neighborhood
Guadalajara, Mexico
About This Activity
Tonalá hosts one of Mexico's largest open-air markets (tianguis) every Thursday and Sunday. Hundreds of stalls fill the streets with ceramics, papel maché, blown glass, textiles, clothing, and street food at local prices. Less touristy than Tlaquepaque and great for bargain shopping. Arrive by 9 AM for the best selection; market runs until about 4 PM.
Seasonal note: Year-round; Thursdays and Sundays only
