About This Activity
The Marietas Islands are a protected nature reserve with the famous Hidden Beach (Playa del Amor), accessible only by swimming through a short water tunnel into a volcanic crater. Tours cost ~$99 USD plus a 120 MXN government bracelet fee. Access is limited to small groups with 30-minute beach visits, so book early. Snorkeling around the islands is excellent for tropical fish and sea turtles. No access on Mondays and Tuesdays.
