About This Activity
Certified instructors at Cascais or Ericeira beach schools cater to all levels — absolute beginners start in the whitewater, intermediate surfers move to green waves. Board and wetsuit are included. Ericeira is a World Surfing Reserve; Cascais is closer but more sheltered. Transport from Lisbon available with most schools.
Seasonal note: Best surf September–April; summer has smaller waves good for beginners but strong onshore winds
