Hike & Seek runs small-group (max 8) hiking day tours to Wilsons Promontory National Park, about 2.5 hours south of Melbourne. The route includes a hike through open forest to the Big Drift — vast exposed sand dunes — then a 7.8km return ascent of Mt Oberon, where 360-degree views of the Bass Strait and Prom coastline are unmatched in Victoria. The day finishes at Squeaky Beach, named for the sound its quartz grains make underfoot. Tour price from A$199 per adult including park entry.
