About This Activity
The Palacio de la Moneda, Chile's neoclassical presidential palace, was built in the 1780s as the colonial mint. Watch the changing of the guard ceremony every other day at 10 AM. Below the palace, the Centro Cultural La Moneda hosts world-class art exhibitions (free before noon, paid after), film screenings, and a design shop showcasing Chilean crafts. Open Tuesday-Sunday 10 AM-6:30 PM.
