Key West Beaches
Key West, Florida Keys
About This Activity
Key West's beaches each offer a distinct vibe. Fort Zachary Taylor State Park ($6/vehicle) has the best snorkeling right off shore. Smathers Beach is the longest stretch with calm shallow water and watersport rentals. Higgs Beach is a local favorite with a dog park, restaurant, and White Street Pier for sunset views. South Beach at the end of Duval is tiny but iconic.
Seasonal note: Year-round swimming. Water warmest Jun-Oct.
