About This Activity
Marathon's patch reefs — including Sombrero Reef and its iconic lighthouse — offer excellent snorkeling and diving in relatively shallow, calm water. Small-group snorkeling tours run about $50-65/person for a 3-hour trip. Private charters offer more flexibility to explore multiple sites. The reef system here is rich with sea fans, brain coral, parrotfish, and nurse sharks.
