Lycabettus Hill rises 277 meters above Athens and offers the city's finest 360-degree panorama — sea to one side, Acropolis below, mountains beyond. Take the funicular railway (€7 return) or hike the pine-shaded path to the whitewashed Chapel of St. George at the summit. Arrive 45 minutes before sunset for the best light.
