Rent a 5-7 metre motorboat from Positano's beach (no licence needed for boats under 40hp; available from Grassi Junior Boats and other marina operators) and spend the day navigating the coast between Positano and Amalfi. Anchor in the turquoise bay below Praiano, swim through the Grotta dello Smeraldo (Emerald Grotto, accessible by rope ladder from the water, €5 to enter), and find your own secluded coves for lunch and swimming. Rental prices start around €200-250 for a half-day boat without skipper.
