About This Activity
Osaka Castle dominates the city skyline from its hilltop position inside a network of stone walls and moats. The 8-story reconstruction (1931) houses a detailed museum of feudal Japan and offers 360-degree observation deck views. Adult admission is ¥1,200 (doubled from ¥600 in 2025); the new Toyotomi Stone Wall Museum is included. The surrounding 3.5-hectare park with 3,000 cherry trees is free. Nishinomaru Garden costs ¥300 (¥350 during cherry blossom season from April 2026). Open 9 am-5 pm.
