Coastal Maine Kayak's 4-hour guided sea kayak tour departs from Cape Porpoise and explores over a dozen small islands in the protected natural harbor, including Goat Island and its working lighthouse — one of the last manned lighthouses in the United States. The guide explains the ecological significance of the rocky ledge ecosystem and points out harbor seals, cormorants, and oystercatchers along the route.
