Kennebunk Beaches
Kennebunkport, Maine Coast
About This Activity
Kennebunk's three adjacent beaches — Gooch's Beach (longest, most popular), Middle Beach (quieter, good for families), and Mother's Beach (small, calm cove ideal for young children) — form one of southern Maine's finest beach corridors. The beaches are within easy walking distance of each other along Beach Avenue. Goat Island Lighthouse is visible from the shore. A paid parking area is available in summer; arrive early or walk from town.
Seasonal note: Swimming best July-August; ocean temps 60-68°F in peak season; beaches walkable year-round
