Cerro de la Silla Viewpoint
Monterrey, Mexico
About This Activity
Cerro de la Silla (Saddle Hill) is the most recognizable natural landmark in Monterrey, its distinctive twin-peaked silhouette appearing on the Nuevo León state coat of arms. Several trails lead to viewpoints at varying elevations — the easier Sendero Pico Norte takes about 3 hours round trip. Bring plenty of water, sun protection, and start early to avoid midday heat. The summit rewards with panoramic views of the metropolitan area and the Sierra Madre Oriental.
Seasonal note: Best Nov–Mar when temperatures are cooler; avoid summer heat
