Climb the famous Dune Climb for sweeping bay views, drive the Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive for dramatic overlooks, or hike the Empire Bluff Trail for one of the most photographed vistas in the Midwest. The Philip A. Hart Visitor Center in Empire offers an excellent 20-minute orientation film. Vehicle entry pass is $25 (valid 7 days). Peak season is June through September; winter offers snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
