The Hollywood Sign is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world. Several hiking trails lead to viewpoints near the sign, ranging from moderate to strenuous. The most popular routes start from Griffith Observatory, the Brush Canyon trailhead off Canyon Drive, or the Mount Hollywood trail. The hike rewards with unbeatable views of the LA basin, the sign itself, and on clear days, the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island.
