Bosphorus Cruise
Istanbul, Turkey
About This Activity
A Bosphorus cruise is the best way to appreciate Istanbul's unique position straddling two continents. Departing from Eminönü, the boat passes the ornate Dolmabahçe Palace, wooden yalı mansions of the Ottoman elite, the medieval Rumeli Fortress, and both suspension bridges. Short cruises take 90 minutes; the full route to the Black Sea village of Anadolu Kavağı takes a half day with a fish lunch at the turnaround point.
Seasonal note: Best Apr-Oct; winter crossings can be cold and foggy
