Roman Baths
Bath, United Kingdom
About This Activity
The Roman Baths are one of the finest examples of Roman engineering in Britain, built around the naturally hot spring that gave Bath its name. The complex includes the Great Bath, the Roman temple, the Sacred Spring, and a museum of Roman finds including the gilded bronze head of the goddess Sulis Minerva. Audio guides are included. The spring still flows at 46°C. Tickets from £18; book online. The nearby Pump Room serves morning coffee and afternoon tea above the spring.
