About This Activity
Sólheimajökull is an outlet glacier of Mýrdalsjökull, easily accessible from Vík (about 30 minutes' drive). A certified glacier guide leads you across blue ice formations, into crevasses, and past moulins for 2–3 hours on the glacier itself. Learn about glaciology and climate change while experiencing one of Iceland's most awe-inspiring ice landscapes. Small groups; crampons and ice axes provided.
