About This Activity
Angel's Billabong is a natural rock pool carved into Nusa Penida's limestone coastline, where a sheltered pool of brilliant turquoise water is surrounded by dramatic cliffs and directly adjacent to the open ocean. At low tide, the pool is calm and safe for swimming, with a natural infinity edge where the pool meets the sea. At high tide or during large swell, the pool becomes dangerous and closes to swimmers. The adjacent Broken Beach — a natural stone arch over a circular sea cove — is just 2 minutes walk away and equally spectacular for photography.
