About This Activity

Kelingking Beach is Nusa Penida's most iconic sight — a dramatic limestone cliff shaped like a dinosaur or T-Rex head plunging into a pristine white sand cove that you can only reach by abseiling or swimming. The viewpoint at the clifftop is accessible by road and offers one of the most photographed seascapes in all of Southeast Asia. A steep 400-step trail descends to the beach itself (45–60 minutes down, 60–90 minutes back up — bring water and good footwear). The beach at the bottom is largely unspoiled and the turquoise water is extraordinary. Visit early morning to beat the crowds that peak between 9am and 11am.
