For genealogists its collections are unmatched: 1901 and 1911 census returns, Griffith's Valuation land survey, Transportation Registers, Tithe Applotment Books, and estate records documenting millions of ordinary Irish families. Walk-in access to the free Genealogy Advisory Service (staffed by professional genealogists) is available Monday–Friday without a Reader's Ticket.
