Lungomare Nazario Sauro Promenade, Bari
Bar Harbor, Italy
About This Activity
The Lungomare Nazario Sauro is Bari's elegant 2km seafront promenade — a palm-lined walkway of Liberty-style villas and benches facing the Adriatic. It connects the new city to the old town perimeter and is the social spine of Bari life, especially at sunset when locals of all ages perform the traditional passeggiata. On clear evenings the Albanian coast is faintly visible across the water. Gelaterias, bars, and seafood kiosks line the route; the walk is entirely free and best combined with an evening in the old town.
Seasonal note: Year-round; most pleasant April–June and September–October; best at sunset
