About This Activity

Walk through the Castello Sforzesco, the Renaissance fortress built by the Sforza dynasty that now houses seven museums including Michelangelo's unfinished Pietà Rondanini. After the castle, pass through the triumphal Arco della Pace arch and spend an hour in Parco Sempione — children love the open lawns, duck-filled lake, and playground near the aquarium. The grounds and castle exterior are free; museum entry costs €5 per person.

Seasonal note: Parco Sempione best in spring and autumn
