Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper (Il Cenacolo, 1490s) fills the entire end wall of the Santa Maria delle Grazie refectory and is one of the world's most important paintings. Access is strictly limited to 40 visitors per 15-minute slot — tickets (€15 including reservation fee) go on sale quarterly and often sell out within hours of release; book at cenacolovinciano.org as soon as your travel dates are set. The UNESCO-listed convent itself is a gem of Bramante's Renaissance architecture. The viewing lasts 15 minutes; pair with the adjacent Pinacoteca di Brera on the same day.
