Irpinia, 2 hours inland from Sorrento in Campania's rugged Apennine Mountains, produces two of southern Italy's greatest wines: Taurasi DOCG (Aglianico) and Fiano di Avellino DOCG. This private full-day tour visits two small family estates for comparative tastings of 3-4 wines each, walks the vineyard slopes at altitude (400-600m), and includes an authentic Irpinian lunch with local cured meats, smoked provola, and chestnut pasta.
