About This Activity
The Gargiulo family olive press (frantoio) has produced Sorrentino DOP olive oil from their terraced groves since the 16th century. The 1-hour guided tour explains the pressing process (cold-press versus traditional stone mill), the difference between harvest timings, and how to evaluate oil quality. Tastings cover 15 varieties including flavored oils (lemon, truffle, chili, cinnamon) alongside local bread, olives, and salumi. Finish with homemade cream liqueurs. Book directly or via Viator.
