Dotonbori Self-Guided Food Walk
Osaka, Japan
About This Activity
Dotonbori is Osaka's most concentrated street food destination — a 600-meter canal-side pedestrian street that earns the city its nickname 'kuidaore' (eat until you drop). Graze freely between stalls: takoyaki from Kukuru or Doraku, Osaka-style okonomiyaki at Mizuno, fresh crab from one of the Kani Doraku restaurants, and cold Asahi from a konbini by the Glico Running Man sign. Factor ¥1,500–¥3,000 for a satisfying graze. Busiest after 18:00; visit at noon for shorter queues.
Seasonal note: Year-round; best evenings
