Hanshin Tigers Baseball at Koshien Stadium
Osaka, Japan
About This Activity
Koshien Stadium in Nishinomiya (20 minutes from Osaka by Hanshin train) is the most legendary venue in Japanese baseball and home to the passionate Hanshin Tigers fanbase. Tickets for bleacher sections (outfield) start from ¥1,600 and must be purchased through the Hanshin Tigers official site or Ticket Pia ahead of the game. Bring earplugs — the synchronized cheering, horn sections, and uta (fight songs) are famously loud. The season runs from late March through October. Note that Golden Week games sell out weeks in advance.
Seasonal note: NPB season Mar–Oct; Hanshin Tigers home games at Koshien Stadium — atmosphere is electrifying, especially weekend derbies
