Nærøyfjord Cruise
Flåm, Norway
About This Activity
The Nærøyfjord is one of Norway's most spectacular natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site — at its narrowest point just 250 metres wide, with near-vertical granite walls soaring to 1,700 metres above the dark water. Fjord cruises depart from Flåm and glide past isolated farmsteads clinging to cliff ledges, cascading waterfalls, and the occasional seal sunning on a rock. The classic round trip from Flåm to Gudvangen takes about 2 hours each way on the electric-powered silent ferries.
