Stegastein Viewpoint
Flåm, Norway
About This Activity
Stegastein is a jaw-dropping cantilevered viewing platform built into the mountain road above Auræland, protruding 30 metres over a 650-metre drop to the Aurælandsfjord below. Reached by the Snow Road (Aurælandsvegen) — itself one of Norway's most dramatic scenic drives — the platform offers an unobstructed bird's-eye view down into the narrow fjord and the colourful village of Auræland. Best visited early morning before tour buses arrive.
