About This Activity

The Alhambra is the greatest achievement of Islamic architecture in Europe and one of the world's most visited UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The Nasrid Palaces — built in the 14th century for the last Moorish rulers — dazzle with muqarnas (honeycomb ceilings), lacework stucco, and reflecting pools that mirror the Sierra Nevada. The adjacent Generalife summer palace has terraced gardens of roses and fountains. General admission is €21 per adult. Tickets sell out weeks ahead — book immediately on the official alhambra-patronato.es website. Daily visitor numbers are strictly capped, with timed entry to the Nasrid Palaces.

Seasonal note: Year-round. Spring brings roses to the Generalife gardens. Book tickets at least 2–3 weeks ahead in peak season.
