Çemberlitaş Hammam — Historic Ottoman Bath
Istanbul, Turkey
About This Activity
Çemberlitaş Hamamı, designed by the legendary Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan in 1584, is one of Istanbul's oldest and most beautifully preserved Turkish baths. The domed marble steam room — lit by pierced star-shaped skylights — has been welcoming bathers for over four centuries. The classic Ottoman Hamam Ritual includes 30 minutes in the hot room, vigorous exfoliation with a kese mitt, and a foamy bubble-soap wash. Located a five-minute walk from the Grand Bazaar and Hagia Sophia, it pairs perfectly with a Sultanahmet sightseeing morning. Self-service access starts at €55; the traditional ritual is €68; adding a 30-minute aromatherapy massage brings the total to €88.
Seasonal note: Year-round indoor
