Hidden in a desert canyon 28km north of San Pedro, the Puritama Hot Springs are a series of 8 natural thermal pools connected by wooden walkways. The crystal-clear water stays at 33°C, perfect for relaxing after high-altitude excursions. Managed by Explora, tickets must be purchased online in advance. AM session 9:30 AM-1:30 PM, PM session 2:30-6 PM. No public transport; arrange a taxi or tour.
