Connemara National Park & Kylemore Abbey Day Trip
Galway, Ireland
About This Activity
Connemara National Park covers 2,957 hectares of mountains, bogs, and heath east of the Twelve Bens range. The Diamond Hill loop (7km) is the most popular hike, offering sweeping views. Combine with Kylemore Abbey — a Victorian neo-Gothic castle on the edge of a mountain lake — whose walled garden is one of the most restored in Ireland. Connemara ponies and red deer often appear along park trails.
