About This Activity

Galway’s compact city centre packs centuries of history into a short walk. Start at Eyre Square and the 15th-century Lynch’s Castle (now a bank, still stone-clad). Cross to the impressive Galway Cathedral, one of the last great stone cathedrals built in Europe, then follow the River Corrib to the Spanish Arch and Galway City Museum. End at the waterfront watching fishing boats and seabirds.

Seasonal note: Liveliest May–Sep
