Micil Distillery, housed at the Oslo Bar in Salthill, has been in the Mac Chearra family since 1848 — six generations of craft spirit-making. The guided tour covers the distillation process for their gin, poitín, and whiskey, with tastings included. Tours run daily at 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, and 18:00; booking ahead is recommended in summer.
