Free Time in Killarney Town
Killarney, Ireland
About This Activity
Killarney town punches above its size for eating, shopping, and entertainment. The 19th-century St. Mary's Cathedral is a short walk from the main street and free to enter. Jaunting cars (traditional horse-drawn traps) depart from Kenmare Place for tours into the national park and are a Killarney institution. The town has excellent traditional music pubs — The Laurels and Buckley's Bar are well regarded.
Seasonal note: Liveliest Jun–Aug
