Depart Monterosso harbour in the early evening on a small wooden boat that hugs the coastline past all five Cinque Terre villages — Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore — as the sun drops over the Ligurian hills. The crew serves aperitif drinks on deck; a swim stop at a sheltered cove near Vernazza is usually included. The view of the five coloured villages from the sea at golden hour is the defining Cinque Terre image. Tours run approximately €85 per person; book at Monterosso harbour kiosks or through Sea Breeze Boat Tours.
