Frascati Wine & Food Tour from Rome
Rome, Italy
About This Activity
Frascati, 25 minutes by train from Rome Termini, sits in the Castelli Romani hills where Romans have made wine for 2,000 years. This half-day tour visits a family-run winery producing Frascati DOC whites using ancient techniques, watches porchetta slow-roasting in a wood-burning oven, and includes tastings of handmade pasta, extra-virgin olive oil, and 4-5 wines. Groups max 12. A perfect half-day alternative to another Rome monument.
Seasonal note: Best spring and autumn harvest seasons
