About This Activity
At Studio Cassio, a family-run mosaic workshop operating for generations, you'll learn to cut marble tesserae with traditional tools and arrange them into geometric Roman patterns. The 2.5-hour session covers fundamental techniques including different textures, cuts, and compositions. You take home your completed mosaic — a unique handmade souvenir. Classes are in English, groups max 10 people, and held in a historic studio near the ancient Appian Way.
