Tivoli Day Trip — Hadrian's Villa & Villa d'Este Gardens
Rome, Italy
About This Activity
Hadrian's Villa (Villa Adriana) was the largest private villa in the Roman Empire — Emperor Hadrian built it in the 2nd century AD with temples, theaters, and baths across 120 hectares. In the afternoon, Villa d'Este in the hilltop town of Tivoli showcases 500 fountains including the Avenue of a Hundred Fountains. Both sites are UNESCO-listed. Tivoli is 30km east of Rome; guided tours include round-trip transport and a lunch break.
Seasonal note: Best spring; Villa d'Este fountains most photogenic April-June
