Tuscany Val d'Orcia Day Trip from Rome
Rome, Italy
About This Activity
The Val d'Orcia, 2 hours south of Rome, is the Tuscany of postcards — cypress-lined roads, terracotta hilltop towns, and Brunello vineyards. This guided day tour walks through Montepulciano's stone-paved streets, visits the Renaissance piazza of Pienza, and stops at Sant'Antimo Abbey in a valley of olive groves. A 3-course Tuscan lunch with Vino Nobile wine tasting is included. Groups are limited to 8 people for a manageable experience.
Seasonal note: Best spring and autumn harvest; Val d'Orcia most photogenic in May
