About This Activity
After Senso-ji and Nakamise-dori in the morning, cross the Sumida River to ride the Tokyo Skytree observation deck (¥2,100 for 350m deck). Then walk north to Yanaka, one of Tokyo's last Showa-era neighborhoods, with its artisan workshops, cemetery walks, and old shitamachi shotengai shopping street. Return to Asakusa at dusk for riverside izakaya dinners.
