Asakusa Half-Day Walk: Senso-ji to Tokyo Skytree
Tokyo, Japan
About This Activity
Start at Kaminarimon gate and walk the 250m of Nakamise-dori lined with traditional snacks — ningyo-yaki cakes, sembei crackers, and matcha soft serve. The Senso-ji temple grounds are free to enter any time. Cross the Azuma Bridge for riverbank views of the 634m Tokyo Skytree, the world's second-tallest structure. The area is most atmospheric on weekday mornings before 9am.
Seasonal note: Spectacular during spring cherry blossoms
