Petra by Night
Petra, Jordan
About This Activity
Petra by Night is one of Jordan's most memorable experiences — held on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings, the walk takes visitors through the candlelit Siq to the Treasury plaza, where the façade is illuminated by over 1,500 candles laid along the ground. The two-hour event begins at 20:30, includes Bedouin music and storytelling, and ends with mint tea served by candlelight in front of the glowing Treasury. The experience is profoundly atmospheric and very different from the daytime visit. Pre-book through hotels or tour agencies in Wadi Musa (the village at the entrance to Petra). Jordan Pass does not cover this event; tickets cost around 17 JD per person.
